SOCAN Foundation - TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship

Focusing on songwriter-artists, each participant in the TD Incubator for Creative Entrepreneurship program will receive:
A cash grant of up to $3,000, which is intended to defray start-up costs (such as costs for marketing, business development, branding, etc.).
Mentorship by an industry professional chosen / matched / provided by SOCAN Foundation.
Access to an exclusive webinar series led by industry professionals and experts.
Keychange EU - CANADA COHORT - 2024 Talent Development Program
Six month talent development program for women/non-binary people in music. Featuring international European festival / conference showcasing or speaking engagements. Available for Canada-based Artists or Innovators. Also includes mentoring, networking, and other supports.

Music Publishers Canada - Women in the Studio National Accelerator
A comprehensive program for women in production and engineering in Canada that is several months long and creates amazing networks, skills, and opportunities with the heart of Canada’s music industry, including an in-person stretch in Toronto.

She Rocks! Awards

Women In Music Canada Honours
Honouring the women in Canada who have made a difference in their respective fields of music. 2024’s edition was held on March 5, in Toronto, and included some incredible honourees in production and engineering including the Good n Plenty Producers Club, Lisa Patterson, and Angie Randisi. Stay tuned for 2025 installment!
SOCAN Foundation’s Equity X Production Mentorship Program
This beginner/intermediate program is focused on DAW skills and basic production principles. There are two levels you can apply for.

Artist Entrepreneur is a six-week *Toronto-based* program that runs Tuesday – Friday from 10 AM to 4 PM.. This is a non-profit led comprehensive and intensive program that is like boot camp for Canadian artists.
There is also a version called Artist Development for Western Canadian Artists
