We’re going back to NAMM in 2025!
THE NAMM DREAM CONTINUES IN 2025!
We had an unforgettable trip to NAMM in 2024 and knew we couldn’t start the SHE-Q year off without a return trip back! If you haven’t heard of the NAMM Show (National Association of Music Merchants), it’s an extraordinary 60,000+ attendee annual conference in Anaheim, California, happening this January 21–25, 2025.
One of the absolute best parts of NAMM? The education lineup. It’s a dream for producers and engineers: hundreds of sessions hosted by NAMM and exhibitors that showcase the latest in tech innovation, alongside opportunities to dive deep into creative strategies and expand your professional network. For women and non-binary professionals in audio, the opportunities are unparalleled. And SHE-Q Audio is so proud to develop a custom itinerary full of special events just for the Canadian co-hort this year to learn from and be mentored by some of music production’s greatest icons, including Lenise Bent (Blondie, Supertramp, Fleetwood Mac, and the first woman engineer to be certified platinum) and one of the most influential people in shaping the sound of modern hiphop, Leslie Brathwaite (Beyonce, Jay-Z, Outkast, Pharrell etc.). Our day-ones, Ohma, will be hosting a private microphone building workshop for the gang.
We are also so thrilled to partner with our sister organization We Make Noise to host a US-Canada Cross-Border Pre-NAMM networking event, hosted by SOCAN House LA, so that Canadians and Americans can learn and connect with each other and discover the incredible cross-border opportunities for career growth and creative collaboration.
This is what we mean by taking professional development and exporting women/non-binary talent to the next level. NAMM is where connections are made, industry doors open, and inspiration fuels action.
